Paula Jean Brown

I am a freelance graphic designer in Albuquerque, New Mexico with expertise in print design, corporate identity, logo design, conference materials, training, presentations, marketing campaigns, program publications and digital marketing. I particularly enjoy conceptual problem solving and creating complex layout solutions. I also love creating vector graphics.

Prior to coming home to Albuquerque I worked as a graphic designer for TEC Equipment in Portland Oregon, the West’s leading full-service truck and trailer dealership with 28 locations on the west coast.  I also worked as a freelance designer for various clients in Austin, TX, Albuquerque, NM, Portland Oregon and for various Texas state agencies and nonprofits.

My love for the creative process began as a theatrical set and lighting design major at Pepperdine University. I also explored the creative process through songwriting and playing in bands based in Los Angeles.

A bit farther on I worked as a handmade jewelry designer and created logos and marketing materials for my jewelry design company. I am a mostly-self-taught graphic designer and I was privileged to hone my skills while being mentored by a staff of fantastic graphic designers at Texas State Media Services offices in Austin. I love to design, more than that I want to learn and to be challenged, to continually get better and to discover what all is possible

In my spare time I write and record music. I also make handmade jewelry and I love to spend time hanging out with my sweet friend Chynna…
