Division for Blind Services 

The DARS Division for Blind Services (DBS) assists blind or visually impaired individuals and their families. DBS staff work in partnership with Texans who are blind or visually impaired to get high quality jobs, live independently, or help a child receive the training needed to be successful in school and beyond.

Project

DBS requested that their Vocational Assessment program brochure be redesigned and that the English and Spanish versions of the publication be merged into one brochure. 

Process

The original brochure was an 8.5 x 11 Tri-fold. I suggested to the client that the new brochure be a 9 x 15 Z-Fold to accommodate the English and Spanish content. Cool colors and an abstract grid design was created to be used behind images of working DBS clients.
